LOD2014 – Linked Open Data: where are we?

The W3C Office in Italy is organizing the Linked Open Data (LOD) event that will be held in Rome on 20th, 21st February 2014.

The “LOD2014” event is centred around a keynote presentations from Phil Archer, a key W3C team member for the Semantic Web and LOD effort. The event will be an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in LOD and related technologies, and on the current thinking about Next Web Technologies. The event will give you the opportunity to know what is going on in the “LOD world”.

In these two days we would also want

  • to share our Italian experiences regarding the use of Linked Open Data
  • to provide information on Best Practices
  • to describe the developments and the working groups in the W3C

This event is aimed at experts, public organizations, developers, decision makers and the general public. Note that the deadline is near: speakers have to submit their short abstract within 15 of January 23:59 Italian time.
