L’Associazione per l’Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale intende promuovere e diffondere la riflessione metodologica e teorica, la collaborazione scientifica e lo sviluppo di pratiche, risorse e strumenti condivisi nel campo dell’informatica umanistica e nell’uso delle applicazioni digitali in tutte le aree delle scienze umane, nonché promuovere inoltre la riflessione sui fondamenti umanistici delle metodologie informatiche e nel campo delle culture di rete.

The Associazione per l’Informatica Umanistica e le Culture Digitali (AIUCD) has held the sixth edition of its annual conference. The AIUCD 2017 Conference from January 26th to 28th in Rome, Italy, organized by DigiLab (Sapienza University), in collaboration with the DiXiT Marie Curie network (Digital Scholarly Editions Initial Training). The main Conference has been preceded by two Dixit events:

The DiXiT workshop “The educational and social impact of Digital Scholarly Editions” (2017, 24 Jan)
The TRACER tutorial co-organized by Digilab, DiXiT and the eTRAP project (2017, 24 Jan)

AIUCD 2017 has also hosted the third edition of the EADH Day, on January 25th.
